Christmas 2011 Recap + NY Resolutions!

Hello, peeps! How was your Christmas??

Mine consisted of eating, shopping, going to church and museums :) here is a list of few shots from the Christmas weekend.

Actually I didn’t tell my mom that I wanted a makeup palette. But instead of UB’s Naked, I got this makeup compact from Lancome! Just as good I think :)

So here comes the interesting part.. my new year resolutions for 2012!

Take the Spanish DELE exam so I can put it under my resume
Graduate college with at least second-upper degree
Get a working permit and a job
Make more electone covers for Youtube
Read more books (omg this again!)
Control my spending and save money
Be more grateful of what I have (ahhem this sounds familiar)
Be more punctual!!!
Not to be overly sensitive (in general)
Be more patient (again, familiar)
Watch and listen more to Spanish/Latin entertainment
No more damaging my hair! Permitted for cutting and treatment only! lol
Tighten the relationship with my family
Have a trip with my bffs!!!
Join the charismatic group in church and get to know God better :)

Well, so far these are the things I can think of. I may or may not have more in the future :p

I still don’t have a fixed plan of how I’m gonna spend the New Years Eve. Hmmm.. what are your plans??

Great, great song. I think I like this one better than “Mr. Know It All”. The video is really cool too! Yay Kelly!

Anyone who knows Boyce Avenue definitely knows this song! This is the first song that Alejandro has ever written and produced. It’s been going around Youtube for years through fans’ self-created videos, but the band just released the official video last Monday. Not only that the song is the first song I knew from them, but it’s also my no.1 favorite amongst all their amazing songs!

How have you been enjoying the holidays so far???

Feliz Navidad! (#TT68)

I got an early Christmas present last week :)

Meeting JOE BROOKS!!!!

I look dumb in the picture with that huge grin but that shows how happy I was!

Joe Brooks, a super talented British singer-songwriter who currently resides in Los Angeles, came to Singapore last week to sing for 250 lucky fans in a small recital hall that had a fantastic acoustic. That rhymes! :p

He was kind enough to meet each one of his fans after the concert for pictures, autographs and hugs <3 He’s such a humble and fun person. I had an amazing time!!! He said that he would come again next year! :DDD

I loooove this song! The lyrics are so sweet and the video perfectly complements the song. Taylor described her style in this video as “corporate not chic”, as she wanted to look as an "unattractive” girl working in a completely dull and boring office. But I think it’s just so hard and nearly impossible to try to make her look unattractive. I mean, look at her!! Plus, I think her blouse and scarf look cute on her!

I can’t believe next week is Christmas!! :D

#TT66: JoJo + Yellowcard

JoJo is back and better than ever! The last time I listened to her was last year from her mixtape, Can’t Take That Away From Me, that she gave away for a free download on a website called rap-up.com. I just found out that she actually released an album in 2009, All I Want Is Everything, but I guess it lacked of publicity. Her last official album I got was The High Road in 2006! How I missed JoJo!!

I love this song!! It is the first single of her latest album, Jumping Trains (which I will get really soon). I like this style better compared to a total RnB style.

And look how matured she looks right now! I think her black hair is pretty hot for her =p

P.S Her real name is Joanna Levesque. Meaning that we have the same first name and initials! Winniiiiinggggg.

The second song that I’ve been listening to lately is Sing For Me by Yellowcard. Just watch the video and if you don’t feel anything at all your heart is pretty much petrified.

I will go back to Singapore this Thursday! I will miss my bffs so much =(

Teenage Dream: Good Charlotte

Hello, peeps!

Yes, I’ve been MIA for these past 2 weeks. It’s because I was hell busy with exams last week and right the following day after the last exam I flew home to Jakarta and here I am chilling, forgetting about school related stuff and just having a great time Winking smile

As for the matter whether I should go to the Good Charlotte’s concert or not, well, I think it’s pretty obvious by now =) YES, I EVENTUALLY WENT AND IT WAS AWESOME =D

The concert was actually held to promote Jack Daniel’s, that’s why only 18years and above were allowed to attend this event. (One of the little things that I feel lucky to be older Smile with tongue out )

I wish my best friend was there. We could sing “I Just Wanna Live” together coz that was legitimately our song! I had been missing the chances to go to GC’s concert since I was 13 and after 7 years of patience I finally could meet them in person!!!

I only have a term break as “long” as 2 weeks. Well, better than nothing, right? That’s why I’m enjoying every single day of it to the maxxx!

I’m independent, I’m on my own (#TT65)

Ahhhh so many good songs this month! This is one of them.

This YouTube-born band, TeraBrite comprises Sabrina, DJ, and… well, that’s all. Yes, only two of them. Two! Dos!

DJ (the guy) basically does pretty much all the instruments and he sings too! Awesomeness! Plus, they’re dating! :P

Decisions, decisions!

I’m having a big dilemma right on whether or not I should go to Good Charlotte’s concert.

Pros:

- I’m a big fan

- a rare chance (probably they will hold another concert in 5 years time)

- finally there’s someone who’s willing to go with me

- it will be on this coming Friday and the tickets are still available!

Cons:

- although the early bird price is the standard price now, $100 still seems a little pricey to me, since I’ve spent mucho dinero for the past month (part of it was for Simple Plan’s January concert! Whaaaat)

- exams

I’m so confused!! Argh!! I’m planning to study as much as I could before the day. And it falls on Friday, so I think it will be fine? No? …..
