I woke up to another tragedy today, 16/04/2013 - explosions in Boston. It really upsets me when this kind of thing happens. It's like, where is humanity?
But we all have to realize that whether 'big' or 'small', crimes take place EVERYWHERE in the world and every morning when we wake up, someone may have lost their loved ones in a terrible way.
To all victims and families who were affected by ANY tragedies in this world, just keep breathing. I'll keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.
To all who passed away, may you rest in peace. You're in a better world now.
Pray for the world. Be kind to one another. Let's make this world a better place to live in.
Before jumping to the Christmas music list, I'd like to give a deep condolence to people who have lost their loved ones at the Newtown massacre last Friday. There was (and still is) a pain in my heart after hearing such a terrible news and my prayers go out to everyone that has been affected.
I couldn't help but to think of this song by Mayday Parade. It's such an emotional song. Although the incident and the message of this song is not exactly the same, it's still about losing someone that we love.. because life can really do terrible things.
BUT,
it doesn't mean that it's not worth-living. I believe that God puts you in things that we may blame Him for, but that's because He knows that you're strong enough to get through them.
I guess what's more heart-breaking is the fact that it's almost Christmas, the season of joy and happiness; and it will take a greater effort to keep it that way this year for all of us. I can't help but to think how hard it would be for parents to not have their kids on Christmas day. Yes, Christmas is not gonna be the same as how it is used to be anymore, but it never fades away. The joy of Christmas, stays here inside us, fills each and every heart with love.
Thus, please have yourself a wonderful Christmas day. It IS hard, but time, love, forgiveness and prayers will get you through. Everyone deserves a happiness during Christmas time, in fact, everyone ALWAYS does.
This song is always beautiful no matter who sings it. But there's just something magical in Judy Garland's voice that makes it even more meaningful. Together with this particular scene, it's just perfect.
Alright, now off to the more cheerful songs! You will be amazed by these unique renditions and modern Christmas songs!
Lastly, this song speaks the message that I'm about to convey: I'm gonna be home for the holidays, baby! Can't wait!

Music – I’d simply die without this.
Fashion - I’m pretty sure that every girl never feels that the stuff in her closet is enough. Not saying that we’re materialistic, but that’s just the way we are right? :p I’m personally addicted to accessories. I just LOVE them!
Photography – I don’t own any high-end cameras and stuff, but I’m always amazed by photographs, especially the vintage ones. Every shot seems to have its own meaning behind.
Paintings – I just love artistic stuff! I actually have a secret passion in sketching and painting. One day when I have the time I’ll definitely brush up my skills in those! P.S This is not mine lol. (I wish)
Performing arts – I used to sing, dance and even act when I was younger. I guess there’s still a root of interest left inside of me although I don’t do any of them anymore. This is why I love concerts, plays and just any live performances. They’re the best!
2. Spanish language
I think most of the old readers of this blog are already aware of this one haha. Me encanta el espanol! :P
3. Cherry blossom
My dream house is one which has a cherry blossom tree at the backyard:) P.S I don’t really like getting flowers as presents (coz they’re not last longing) but if I were to get cherry blossoms I would marry the person :p

5. High-tea session
A cup of aromatic tea and sweets will make a perfect lovely afternoon.
6. Travelling
New places and new people with different languages and culture fascinate me:) Not to mention the hotels with comfy beds and savoury foods haha.

Since I don’t really watch the TV or read the news, I would be completely living under the rock without the Internet access. Plus, I love connecting with people around the world!

9. Cards and letters
Cheesy, I know. But I can’t help it! I think presents would be so incomplete without cards (boys, listen up). That’s why I greatly appreciate for the cards and letters I receive because I know that the people who wrote them have put more effort and feelings compared to those who might just get you something last minute. I keep ALL of them:)
10. Good people
No matter what I do, it would be so much more fun if I do it with my friends:)

As the rules say, I have to list 3 things/people that inspire me so here we go. ;)
1. My parents.
These 2 persons are the ones that inspire me the most. I don’t want them to be replaced because they are the best role models in my life. They’re always there giving the best for me and I can’t wait to repay them one day!
2. Music.
I just can’t live without music! I’d feel that a day is lacking if I haven’t listened to any songs. It’s funny how I always have a melody playing inside my head even when I’m not listening to anything. Music makes good times even better and is a remedy through bad times. I wish my life was a movie that has a different soundtrack for every moment everyday! :P
3. Teachers.
Not all, but many of them have been my inspirations that lead the life I’m going through right now. Most of the teachers that normally inspire me are the ones who teach music, English and business. It’s not easy to be a teacher that’s why I appreciate them a lot ;)
Not to mention that all bloggers are very inspirational to me as well! Therefore I’ll pass this award to each one of you because each blog is just inspiring!
I have nothing much to say but letting you know that I'm so happy and thankful for your comments on the last post regarding my loss. They meant a lot to me and cheered me up ;) These past few days have been rough for me and my whole big family, but we know that my grandpa only left this temporary life and is in a better place now for eternal life. All of us will meet him again someday. Surprisingly this incident somehow bonds the big family better than before and I’m glad for that.
All of you are so amazing, even more amazing than my "friends". I want to give a big teddy bear hug and give an award to whoever invented the blog world.

Sorry for the “sleepy” look though I wasn't that sleepy haha. I got the skirt and necklace when I was in middle school! It’s quite long for me and I look short in it but whatever I still like it :P
Oh, yesterday I finally got a pair of shoes from Zara for my cousin’s wedding. Actually mom chose them for me cause she always thinks that the ones I like are “too dangerous” to be worn lol.

So here is another piece of clothing that had the similar story with the pants I reformed. I found a defect on its neckline and it frustrated me quite much! I tried to accessorize every time I wore it but I never got fully satisfied.
Sooo, I found these bra straps (lol) that I don’t remember why I bought them. I cut the adjustment clips (or whatever it’s called) so they became just like normal elastic strips. I sewed them along the neckline to ensure that the defect would be perfectly invisible and tied them together into a bow!
I’ll probably wear it tomorrow on the Degree orientation day! :)

I love both English and Spanish versions, their whole purpose of gathering big artists and re-making a brilliant song of late-MJ’s is the same, which is to open up people’s mind to realize that we are together in this world as one.
We have to help other people who are in desperate need and that has to start from ourselves, because we are the ones that could make a change in this world.
So let’s reach out our hands and start giving to others without looking at the races, nations and beliefs. No matter how little you help, it counts.

I’m loving the weather lately, it’s a bit chilly and windy (sleepy weather) because it rains pretty much everyday. The only thing that I’m not really comfortable with is that the kind of weather like this makes me dilemma of outfits I’m wearing. It could rain so heavily in the morning but later on it could be so sunny and warm, vice versa.

I heart music and have been playing organ/electone since I was like 6.
I fell in love with Spanish language in primary school as I could memorize one song in Spanish in a day without having any knowledge of the language itself yet. So I started self-studying since then (as I didn’t have enough time for extra courses) and only started taking proper classes one and a half year ago. I think it’s one of the most beautiful languages ever.
I’m a Chinese-descent with a very limited ability of speaking Chinese. Been trying to learn it many times since I was very young but my heart is just not into it. (Sorry, my dear ancestors!)
I have a very sensitive skin. Itchiness and redness have become parts of my daily issues.
If I were a flower, I’d be cherry blossom.
When I got to know new people, so far never anyone has guessed the right nationality of mine till I told them the right one. (My look can be deceiving, LOL)
I had a video chat with Belinda today! She ‘premiered’ her new album to her fans and I can’t wait to hold the album on my hands! :D
This top is pretty comfortable despite the bottom part which I’m not so into. My dad said the sleeves look like bat’s wings haha.

I ate bat today! Yes, I’m such a carnivorous primitive! LOL. It was cooked of course, dont worry ;) I just tried a bit though, coz it tasted.... I don’t know how to put it but it’s similar like mutton to me, and I don’t like mutton. The texture was more like chicken though, it’s still considered as poultry isn’t it? Or not? Ok enough about bats lol.
