This blog is not dead yet, I promise!!

Hello people, or hello blog (if I’m talking alone), I know I’ve been such a bad bad blogger lately and I apologize for that!

I have my reasons though.

First, last month I was super busy because of exams.

Second, after the exams I straightaway went to KL, Malaysia to visit my highschool friends and family (since my parents also went there to visit my brother).

Third, I’m currently making an arrangement of Diego’s song Siempre Tu on the electone since he requested for it! I’m gonna post it on YouTube as well as here once it’s done :)

So people, bear with me! Let’s see what I’ve done for the past few weeks.

My Spanish teacher, Alejandra’s birthday that fell on the 30th of November. The students brought 2 cakes to the class on the day and the next week we went to a Mexican restaurant for dinner. It was a blast!

I got her a cute baby photo frame since she’s 4months pregnant and I’m so happy and excited for her!

    Highschool buddies!! Miss them all already!

Tuneful Tuesday #19 + Luisana Lopilato de Erreway!

Woke up at 5 in the morning to join a video chat with Luisana Lopilato!!

She looked heavenly GORGEOUS!! If I were a guy I would definitely go after this girl! (ok I sound like a lesbo now lol). But seriously.

The chat ended an hour later. She didn’t see any of my messages (saying that I’m Joanna, a big fan of hers, kisses from Singapore and I love her so much!) in the chat but well I felt happy enough to see her live! So I went back to the dream world and continued my weird dreams. Got up around 9.30, checked my twitter and saw her tweets. I replied (similar content to my previous unseen messages) and guess what! SHE REPLIED!!! OMG this really made my dayyyyyy! :D

I miss her acting in Rebelde Way and singing with her buds in Erreway!!

I used to watch this telenovela like EVERYDAY! And I felt like burning down the local TV station for terminating the show before it was finished. :( Miss it soooo much!

Oh, and by the way, FELIZ DIA DE LA HISPANIDAD!

I had my spanish class today and the teacher told us about this celebration coz we were clueless about it! She shared about Spanish inventions and stuff, and we were like so amazed! So we got Chupa Chups as un regalito since it was originated from Spain! I just can’t wait to visit Spain and South America one day. Wait for me! ;)


Time to go to bed! It’s been a loooong day and I’m actually typing this with my eyes half-closed lol.

Tuneful Tuesday #8

There are lots of things that I want to share with you today.
Good ones and bad ones.
So which one first?

Alright maybe the bad ones first.

First, I screwed my exam yesterday. I may be exaggerating but I know it wasn't good. Plus the fact that some of my friends actually got the latest past year papers from several connections which were really similar to the actual exam. I found it quite unfair since the latest papers were actually only meant to be for students who failed the exam before.

Second, my regular Spanish teacher is leaving the tuition centre for another institution, which is very saddening for me.. Moreover I won't be attending the last class she teaches as I'll be going back a week before that :(

Third, one of my classmates is acting super weird. He's ignoring me for no reasons. I don't know if it's correct to put that under this category.

Fourth, I seem to lose contact with my best friend again. I've been dreaming about her. I miss her so much :(

Now move on to the good ones.

First, CONGRATS TO SPAIN FOR WINNING THE 2010 WORLD CUP! I'm so happy for them and I think they truly deserved it ;)

Second, I've got my timetable for the next term. I have to say that the schedule is pretty awesome. It's better than this term and the best part is my birthday falls on one of the study breaks, which is awesome.

Third, I'm in love with this song by Eminem and Rihanna. This video is just a cover of it since the official video is not out yet.

Eminem is probably the one and only rapper that I still listen to since I was in primary school. I know he does some bad things in his life, (well, all of us do right?) but I always see him as a talented musician who writes more meaningful lyrics than just about some girls in clubs. He does have that type of songs too though, in fact he has them pretty a lot in the previous albums, but I like the ones in which he puts personal feelings into more. The first song ever of his that I know is The Real Slim Shaddy. It's simply because my brother had a performance being a Slim Shaddy for his middle school graduation haha it was pretty funny :P

Too bad that I can't watch all the matches since my owner doesn't subscribe the international lines and the local channel here only airs for the opening, semi finals and final. Well, anyways I'm on exam period at the moment so I'm really away from TV. Nonetheless, I'm rooting for Spain! Viva España!!

I'm gonna watch the semi final 2 (Spain vs. Germany) this Thursday at 2.30A.M! So I'm planning to sleep earlier like 6p.m and wake up around 2a.m. I would smack my alarm (which in this case my cellphone) if I find myself just awake at 9a.m the next day!!
Ok not really.

Tuneful Tuesday #6

Hey lovely people,

I know I didn't post Tuneful Tuesday last week, many things came up that day so I didn't have time to post anything. Sorry :x

That's why I put 2 videos this time, to compensate the missing post last week ;)

So first, to celebrate my best friend's "return", I'll dedicate this song for her because she was the one who introduced me this song back in high school. This was the first Korean song I learned from my first Korean friend. I still remember when she was writing the lyrics for me in the library since I said 'hey this song is nice!' :D

Last week a classmate of mine was singing this song with her mp3 on and I guess she thought she was good (it was pretty loud) but she wasn't..that good. I just wanted to say "you're ruining my memorable song!" haha.

The second song is from Belinda. I posted about her many times before, you may recall from her 'wonderland' outfit ;) So last week the official video came out and I was so excited! So here it is. Enjoy!

I'm still on my study week. Yes, still stressing out as usual, I think I've got used to it haha. But one thing for sure is that I'm happier now because I can contact my best friend which I couldn't do for the past 3 years. INTERNET RULES ;)

Yesterday I had a video chat with mi amor, Diego! LOL. Yes 2 chats with favorite artists in one week WHOO! :D And I had my Spanish exam today, it was pretty good too, so this week has been amazing! How about yours??

Oh and one more thing. My face is breaking out! It’s the allergy again..but I’ve been avoiding all the stuff that stimulates the allergy. Normally it gets better after a few days, but this time it has been a week! Any tips??

I loooove the colors of this collection and the head accessories are absolutely adorable! I have a few of those and I simply love them! I just love everything about spring ;) Next time if I go to any of four-season countries again it HAS to be on spring!

I just got back from my spanish class and since I was off for 3 weeks (and didn’t revise at all), I forgot quite a lot of words, especialmente la gramatica, el preterito indefinido! Aaaghhh! Serious revision should be started soon. Today was fun though, I always leave the class with a big smile stretched on my face, in my mind I say “Let’s continue this! 2 hours is too quick for me!” :P

Lots of learning going on…

LOL!

These show how much I paid attention in Human Resource class last year. Very focused, indeed. (haha!) I realized these doodles when I went through the book to do the assignment. Some of them look sort of emo, i think because i was not in a very happy mood. And guess what? I did all of these in front of the lecturer as i always sit at the first row lol. Didnt he see it, you may ask. Wellll to him as long as he’s not interrupted by noisy students while lecturing, he seems to be in his own HR fantasy world. :D

I only doodle in his class because it’s always B-----!! (fill in the blank) haha. However, it was 2009, as the year changes its digits I’m trying my best to be a better student :) But anyways, who doesnt love doodling? lol

I’ll save this little hobby for a long break after the exam. By then I will be drawing better sketches rather than messy doodles :D

Btw, here's a list of what I'm excited at the moment.

1. In my spanish class we're learning the vocabs of wardrobe and conversations about shopping! (2 of my favorite things in one go)
2. More shopping next week!
3. The fact that chinese new year is coming which means that im going back soon!
4. I did my test pretty well few days ago ;)
5. No more assignments! *kneels down, hands on the chest*

La manzana

Yesterday's spanish class was TOUGH. The whole session was conversation practice.
After the class was canceled twice in a row for the last 2 weeks, we forgot a lot of stuff!
And guess what, Natalia was still away and there was this teacher replacing her.
He spoke like those people in videos, damn fast! and using lots of difficult words.
After he said something all of us were like, uh....huh? *blinkblink* with thousands of question marks on our heads.
I felt so stupid and embarrassed :(
And his english wasnt that good so we didnt really get his explanation. GAHHH.

One funny thing happened.
Javier (the teacher) was acting as a shop assistant and all of us were the customers.
My classmate was supposed to transact a computer.
The conversation went something like this.

J: Buenos dias, te puedo ayudar? (good morning, can i help u?)
C: Buenos dias, quiero comprar un ordenador (good morning, i wanna buy a computer)
J: Que tipo? (what type?)
C: Manzana

-silence-

I knew it was a fruit, i was thinking of 'banana' then the other classmate was like 'yellow'?
Then Kath got cracked.
It's apple!
LOL. THEN i remembered it was 'apple'.
So it's the Apple brand. LMAO.
All of us laughed so hard. HAHA.

Info : Spanish still say it as Apple :P

After the class was over we were like, FEWH! That was tiring!
We got many new words though. in whole 2 hours.
