Love finds you (#TT143)

Hello lovelies!

Can we just stop doing everything and listen to this song for a while? It gives hope for the broken hearted.

I know people make promises all the time
Then they turn right around and break them
When someone cuts your heart open with a knife, now you're bleeding
But I could be that guy to heal it over time
And I won't stop until you believe it
'Cause baby you're worth it

[Chorus:]
So don't act like it's a bad thing to fall in love with me
'Cause you might look around and find your dreams come true, with me
Spent all your time and your money just to find out that my love was free
So don't act like it's a bad thing to fall in love with me, me
It's not a bad thing to fall in love with me, me

"Yes baby, I'm bleeding. Please heal me."

That was my first official response to this song. The lyrics are simply HOPE.

Then I went to watch the video on YouTube, and I really didn't expect to watch a love documentary. Watching this gave me that warm fuzzy feeling inside, until a part came when a couple said "love finds you". I don't know why, but it just hit me and I swear I almost teared.

Probably because my underground mission now is to find love. These three words simply tell you (well, me) not to rush because without you knowing, love is on its way to find you. There will be a time when it finally finds you and all the wait becomes so worth it.

I have to admit that I create stories a lot in my head on a regular basis of a possible happy ending. My happy ending. Every time when I start to think "this part of storyline is impossible to happen", I told myself "well, that's the point. Since it's not gonna happen, you can just let it exist in your daydream." I know, I know, I mind-talk to myself a lot. Lol

Anyways, I think this song will be my theme song for the next.. Well, until love really finds me.

I've discovered one strange thing. While I'm getting prone to be emotional these days (screw hormonal imbalance, I might need to check with a doctor), I find that my resistance of pain is somehow getting stronger. Probably I'm like a shattered glass, it's already broken, so how more broken can it get, right?

In fact, I'm more drawn to things that may possibly hurt me. In this case, what Gotye says can really be applied "you can get addicted to certain kind of sadness." It's oddly true.

So that's it for this week. Just one song. Well, I do listen to a lot of songs these days, thanks to Spotify (found my love for Ariana Grande and Chinese songs lol), but I dedicate this post to this one song only.

If you're interested, you can find me on Spotify under "limjoanna"

Thanks for reading and caring.

Undergoing love rehab (#TT141)

Comfortable like an old sweater
Memorable, you just can't forget her him
Starting over is the hardest thing to do

History has a way of repeating
Eventually we'll just do the same thing
Starting over is impossible with you

So don't pick up anymore
When I call you up
Cause it's the beginning
Of a bad idea
A bad idea

Loneliness has a way of magnifying this
Feeling that I'm still not, no I'm not over you

So don't pick up anymore
When I call you up
Cause it's the beginning
Of a bad idea
A bad idea

I'm still in love with you
Guess I'll love you from a distance

Keep on keeping on (#TT139)

 Hello lovelies!

Can we just take a moment and appreciate that this song exists? I was feeling so turned off by the current hit songs nowadays. From J-Lo's "I Luh Ya Papi" (seriously, what?) to Katy Perry's "Dark Horse" (very disappointing), I was just sick of all of them! This is partly why I didn't post a TT post last week, because honestly I didn't have anything to post. At the end I just listed out several underground acoustic songs which I LOVE for today's post, but well, thanks to Travie McCoy and Panic! At The Disco's lead singer hottie, Brendon Urie, the acoustic post has to wait till next week!

You gotta keep on keeping on
Even with the feeling
That you're gonna keep losing
You gotta come back strong
Oh Oh
You gotta keep on keeping on
Even with the feeling
That you're gonna keep losing
You gotta come back strong
Oh Oh

This song applies to many situations that we encounter in life. Anything that makes us feel like giving up. To me personally, it reminds me not to give up on love and relationship. The right time will come one day *fingers crossed*. And so do you. Don't give up on something that you've always wished for.

Have a good week ahead!

I wonder..

How strong can love be?

I know it can make people do stupid things that they might or might not regret later on, but can love alone overcome other factors that also matter to us?

1 week till Christmas! (TT#96)

Hi lovelies,

Before jumping to the Christmas music list, I'd like to give a deep condolence to people who have lost their loved ones at the Newtown massacre last Friday. There was (and still is) a pain in my heart after hearing such a terrible news and my prayers go out to everyone that has been affected.

I couldn't help but to think of this song by Mayday Parade. It's such an emotional song. Although the incident and the message of this song is not exactly the same, it's still about losing someone that we love.. because life can really do terrible things.

BUT,
it doesn't mean that it's not worth-living. I believe that God puts you in things that we may blame Him for, but that's because He knows that you're strong enough to get through them.

I guess what's more heart-breaking is the fact that it's almost Christmas, the season of joy and happiness; and it will take a greater effort to keep it that way this year for all of us. I can't help but to think how hard it would be for parents to not have their kids on Christmas day. Yes, Christmas is not gonna be the same as how it is used to be anymore, but it never fades away. The joy of Christmas, stays here inside us, fills each and every heart with love.

Thus, please have yourself a wonderful Christmas day. It IS hard, but time, love, forgiveness and prayers will get you through. Everyone deserves a happiness during Christmas time, in fact, everyone ALWAYS does.

This song is always beautiful no matter who sings it. But there's just something magical in Judy Garland's voice that makes it even more meaningful. Together with this particular scene, it's just perfect.

Alright, now off to the more cheerful songs! You will be amazed by these unique renditions and modern Christmas songs!

Lastly, this song speaks the message that I'm about to convey: I'm gonna be home for the holidays, baby! Can't wait!

Oh, oh! Hang on there.. that wasn't the last video of this post.
This is!
I know this is obviously not a Christmas song, but the fact that Swift Tizzle debuted her latest (100th) music video on her 23rd birthday is pretty much worth to be shared :) be prepared to be wowed by her different style!

Are you done with all of the Christmas preparations?
I'm certainly not.. So little time and I think I'm getting sick :/ hope I'll be healthy again by this week!

Have a wonderful week!

All About Us (#TT 56)

1

Take my hand
I'll teach you to dance
I'll spin you around
Won't let you fall down
Would you let me lead
You can step on my feet
Give it a try
It'll be all right

t2

The rooms hush, hush
And now's our moment
Take it in, feel it all, and hold it
Eyes on you, eyes on me
We're doing this right
tumblr_lqlbw9p5RD1qj57n3o1_500_large

Cause lovers dance when they're feeling in love
Spotlight shine, its all about us
its all about us
And every heart in the room will melt
This is a feeling I've never felt
but its all about us

tumblr_lj50boxhV51qaul1io1_500_large

Suddenly, I'm feeling brave
I don't know what’s gotten into me
Why I feel this way
Can we dance, real slow
Can I hold you, can I hold you close

 tumblr_lr8kaaiomD1qkn49oo1_400_large

Do you hear that love,
they're playing our song
Do you think we're ready,
oh I'm really feeling it
Do you hear that love,
Do you hear that love

tumblr_l8az2vSlRT1qal30oo1_500_large

This song is soooo cuuuuute! I love He is We! :)

(This is one of those moments that I feel like there’s a need to put a love quote but since I lack of cheese in me and it’s midnight I can’t think of one right now lol)

Have a fantastic week!

I had a great day today so I’m passing my big smile to you!

:D

We thought we knew everything, but we didn't.

We were so young and invincible

Young love was such dumb love
Call it what you want it was still enough

And you're still out of me reach
And you're still all of the things
That I want in my life
How could I ask you to leave me?

And we were just kids in love
The summer was full of mistakes we wouldn't learn from
The first kiss stole the breath from my lips
Why did the last one tear us apart?

When lovers catch my attention…

my eyes desire, but my heart doesn’t

normal_BelindaPhotosCom_Novelas_Camaleones_Promos_Shoot02_(01)

being an expert of giving advice to others,
myself lost in a riddle that can’t be figured

stsl-03-blues0903

why does the conclusion seem to be a long way to go still?
the process in between is always the hardest part

stsl08_feature0811

tell me,

how’d you know that he’s the one?

I'm not yours everyday, around the way
No more car-hopping, chilling on the block, on your cell phone fronting
Never that, cause I'm not that kinda girl (no, not me)
I need to know how you roll, and how you get down, down
Drop my money in the bank, take me home to meet your Mama
Can you handle that, cause I'm that kinda girl
Now you ain't impressing me with your jewelry, your designer clothes
All the games that you try to play, think you need to know
I got my own, don't need you for your dough
Hearing me, maybe then we can flow, let me know
Make me smile, maybe we can chill
Keep it real
Show me something I can feel
Cause I'm not your average, ordinary type
Could you be the type of guy I like, I like
Everytime I be up in the spot, chillin' with my crew
We'll be hanging out, get in a little late
You start bugging out, I don't think it's fair (no fair)
You don't like the clothes I wear, how I do my hair
I don't really care, but it's not for you
And I don't got nothing to prove
There can't be any us, if there can't be any trust
Nothing to discuss (no doubt)
I'm not the kinda girl, to let you play me out
You might take me shoppin', but I'm not your property, oh baby
If I don't like it, I decide it
I can make it on my own, as long as we disagree to agree
Down for you and you're down for me, baby I'm what you want
And we can build a love that's so strong

Talking about......

"How you deal with love is how you deal with yourself, and all our hearts feel the same pains and joys as you, even if our lives and ways are different"

Sometimes we need to look into ourselves, instead of blaming others of what has happened.
Some people look at things with one eye closed.
They count and remember the good things that they have done and the bad things that others did.
They think what others do is not good enough as compared to what they do.
They think they're only the ones who are having a hard time, whereas the other parties are having harder.
Humans are not perfect.
Love is not perfect either.
Some people assume they understand about love enough,
when they actually understand about something else that is love-like.
I don't know much about love either.
It's sort of complicated.

I believe that things happen when you least expect them and they happen for a reason.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together

Blinded by Love

They feel like their partners are the only creatures left in this planet;
as if only two of them existed in the world.
They don't listen to others;
they don't care about others.
They ignore the truths that are unpleasantly heard;
they refuse to believe the reality.
They can hardly distinguish what is right or wrong;
as to their eyes, everything seems right.
They would bear any consequences to the deepest;
pride, embarrassments, humiliations, career, family, trust from others.
They no longer care of everything;
as long as they can be together with their partners.
They would do anything for them;
their brains have been manipulated.
They would abandon and lie to people
that they have known for a decade,
for someone whom they barely know.
It sounds stupid, indeed;
but all of us somehow have been or will go through this whole stupidity.
We will never realize it,
until one day our eyes will be re-opened and a voice says "this is not right";
or until one day, on the wedding ceremony, your heart whispers to you "you have found the one".
But now I'm glad that eventually someone has realized,
that love is not everything.
It's not everything as we need others too besides our partners;
it's not everything as he or she is not the only person left in this world.
Time really cures everything; well, almost.
Don't let this so-called love make you blind.
Keep your eyes opened, let it flow and you will get there certainly.
