So… my term break finally started (TT#39)

I’ve finished my exams! I pretty much screwed them, especially the last one. I was depressssseeeedddd :/

So I went home weeping and deep-fried my books.

You should try! The crisp is unbeatable! Way better than french fries!

Nah, kidding. That’s how depressed I was..or am.

I just hope that God will bless the examiners’ hearts for not being too strict.

Meanwhile, it’s time to chillaxxxxx ;)

Today I don't feel like doin' anything
I just wanna lay in my bed
Don't feel like picking up my phone
So leave a message at the tone
Cuz today I swear I'm not doin' anything
Nothing at all

So it’s pretty obvious that my to-do list in this term break is:

1. Listen to Bruno Mars and fall asleep

2. Read novels and fall asleep

3. Watch movies online and fall asleep

4. Eat like there’s no tomorrow and fall asleep

5. Sleep

6. More sleep

 

No big deal ;)

On the Street

Hi people!

Omg I realized that I haven’t blogged for a week! Sowwyyy :/

Now I’m on my study break. Yeaheyy! Though I still have lots to do during the break…but now I’ll have more time to blog for sure! ;)

So I wanna share with you guys about the footwear trend that I’ve been seeing for a while.

First is the trend that most of you may already know because it’s been popular since last year and now they are just everywhere. Yep, gladiators!

This season the gladiators are quite “modified” so they don’t look like original gladiators anymore, which I like! I found that the gladiator style from last season doesn’t really suit me, that’s why I didn’t buy any last year. But this time I am so digging it! And I’m so stoked that they now come in nude colors because I LOVE nude colors. As in the picture above, I’ll definitely choose the beige one! And I am literally looking a pair like that for my cousin’s wedding!

Not only heels, gladiator sandals are also everywhere! I found that the one with shoe laces or strips like no.6 is really popular nowadays and they also have in heels version. Ok I really need your opinion on this. Since I’ve been looking for both gladiator sandals and heels, which one do you think is better in beige? This confuses me a lot (and ends up not buying all the time) because I think black is really cool too so I want to get one in black and one in beige but I don’t know which color for which pair! Help!Oh, and the second one is sneakers. I’m sure you may have been seeing people in colorful sneakers (Keds has tons of them!) but lately I notice something rather unique. I saw some people wearing different single shoe for each foot! Is it a trend now? Haha it’s quite funny :P I never tried wearing it like that but I used to wear shoes with different laces heeheee. My favorite was blue on the right foot and pink on the left. It may sound weird but somehow it was a trend back in highschool times haha.

Shorty Like Mine

Few days ago I “modified” my pants from Island Shop that I got quite long ago. I wasn’t that satisfied after trying them at home since I got them in a sales rack battling with hundreds of hands digging (ok maybe not hundreds but you know what I mean). The material is very comfortable, it feels like you’re not wearing anything! Hahaa..well, it IS thin, so I had to wear biker-shorts-like underneath. They have been worn once only and to be honest, my butt looks twice bigger than it is on them (while it’s already super big in real size) and the pants length just makes me look even shorter. Not to mention my funny face in this picture. Wow, how perfect is that.So I decided to cut them into shorts, so I can wear them with tights (in hope they’d look better on me after). I changed the position of the buttons and I think they looked cuter that way. Oh, and this was done without involving a sewing machine (coz I don’t have it here) and with full of pauses in the process (mostly due to watching youtube videos!) so it took me 2 days to finish them haha.

“Why are you posting this by the way? It’s such a simple thing people can do!”

Well, because this is the only piece so far that turned out pretty successful after having it chopped and stitched without my mom’s advice so I’m quite proud of that. She normally advises me for taking whatever I wanna change to the tailor ;)

Semester break!

The exam week is over~~~!
And now it's time for semester break! :DD

Let's recap of what has been happening this week.

Monday:
It was unexpected but the band 'we shot the moon' just began a live video chat when i just logged in my twitter. I guess it was a practice before the video chat of the NEXT day? with someone else :)
but anyway the guys were nice and funny ;)

Tuesday:
DIEGO's video chat!!! Yeah i was so waiting for tuesday to come. I couldnt sleep at the night before, i set the alarm to wake me up but i woke up before the alarm rang! hahaha. too excited maybe? :P There were so many people so he didnt see my questions i guess :/ but i think i was smiling for half an hour just looking at and listening to him :PP

Wednesday:
Nothin special happened. Exam?

Thursday:
Study study study and day dreaming about the upcoming weekend X)

Friday:
It's finally over!
Yeepee!

Saturday:
Halloween! We went to sg science centre for the celebration and we thought ALL people would dress up but at first we just saw the kids did lol. Only some of the adults dressed up and i guess they thought they could only dress up as scary characters, while me and my friend.. hmm luckily we didnt dress up so much, otherwise we would be out of place, ha~ but yea we were trying to be a gypsy woman and a sexy waitress. LOL?
She was so freaked out by the "ghosts" even the kids werent that afraid. haha.
First we were going through the 'night horror trail' (the best part) XD then watching some kind of a show where a rubber guy didnt die getting struck by lightning (?), then looking at the exhibition "body worlds" where we could see human body (real) parts (idk how they made it but it was cool and gross at the same time, too bad that no photo taking allowed), then heading to fill our stomachs (Mcd's at 9.30 PM, felt sorry for my body) anddd attending a sort of discussion about ghosts(?). Oh, and chatting about ghost stories for an hour before going back home XD. I reached home with dead feet.

Sunday (today):
Skipped the morning mass and being laaaazzzzyyyyy. Still going for afternoon mass tho. Im a good girl ;)

Saturday:

- chatting, talking, sharing, heart-to-heart moments :)

- went to church *long mass zzz :P

- dinner, got back home and watched P.S I love you while snacking =P great movie!

Sunday:

- went off to Safari *jam jam*

- checking out the animals *car windows being licked off by reindeers and friends XD

Zebbry~~sorry we didnt buy you guys carrots :P

- saw the sea lion and birds show

- visited my PENGUINS =DD *felt like sticking around forever XD

KAWAIIII~~~

- checked out some more animals at the zoo

- went back *mom turned pale due to excessive smell of horses' poo LMAO

- romantic dinner lol

- got home, exhausted.

drunk and dead. lol jk she was just...dead. XDD

writing a farewell letter for her friend but got annoyed by me XPP

Monday:

- chaaaaatttiiinnnggg :)

- slept till evening after my luvs went back home

late birthday gifts from luvs~ love them! ;))

During the super short break..

4 days-break? what kind of break is this?
sigh.
but i'm actually fine with it though, i don't like staying at home for so long.
yesterday i just realized that my headphones had gone. I was searching all over the room yet couldn't find it. then something came up in my mind, "hmm..is it?"
then i grabbed my phone, texted a message and sent!
after i got a reply i finally knew where it was.
MY EX-ROOMMATE STILL HAS IT.
darn her, we met so many times in campus but she didn't give me. in fact she ignored me lately.
"i always forget to give you" she said. shut it woman, what a lame excuse.
bet she would've never given it back if i didn't ask. she used it more than i did, talked online at nights disturbing my sleeps and just took it from my table without asking first.
so i guess she really wanna take it as her own. i gotta clean it properly before i use, feel disgusted somehow. because of looking for the headphones, i was late to go to meet my friends -.-

faye got her hair cut. same style but the hairstylist made her look like an obasan~! LOL, even she admitted. i just said "matured" instead of "old" XD. mine is due on tuesday! ^^

just now my spanish teacher told us that she met Pharrel! I did know about Mosaic concert in Esplanade, but I never thought that Pharrel would come. then she said that she went backstage after the concert (she was very excited and talked funnily,lol. love her and her spanish^^) and met face-to-face with him and took picture. so lucky~ it brings back my regrets of not meeting RJA :C . Next time no matter how tired i am, how late it is and how impossible it would be, i must go to the backstage! *flaming eyes* lol~

anywayss.. i'm still thinking about going to shanghai with my friends this summer holiday, hmm..
